BLOOM The Salon, a boutique experience founded and led by a passionate, specialist located in Keego Harbor.  Styling, color, and specialty treatments by educated, highly trained stylists who are rooted in integrity, in turn offering quality-driven services set by value-based pricing creating a memorable experience. 

The Ask: To create a cohesive brand to reflect the salon’s authentic nature and the purpose-driven mission and backstory of its founder, Dahlia Misho. Simultaneously, the brand strategy intention is to support the interior experience and provide design details and comprehensive guidelines for decision-making and marketing direction.

Design Solution: The custom icon is inspired by the name itself using Dahlia petals as well as other brand keywords such as community, luxury, and faith to form a unique and memorable mark. The inline style paired with it being contained in a circle makes it feel luxurious and clean. The main logotype “BlOOM” was customized in multiple areas to tie back to the brand story. For example, the “B” hints again at Dahlia petals, the slightly rotated “OO” nods to petals, and the softened + added thickness makes it inviting yet bold. The brand color palette is inspired by elements found in nature to create a comfortable feeling while still feeling high-end.
